    What is Clearcoat? It’s an extremely thin layer of plastic that you apply over your paint. It’ll protect your vehicle from sun damage and everyday detritus. In addition to this service, Clearcoat also provides the final sheen that makes your car’s paint job look shiny and finished. With the Pen, you can cover damaged areas that are around the size of a pencil eraser.

    • The Pen’s firm chiseled nib tip allows you to apply a small amount of paint and stay within the confines of the damaged area.

    • Each Pen is filled with 0.35 oz. of our low-VOC environmentally friendly touch-up paint.

    1. Use a soft cloth to prime the tip of the Touch Up Pen Clearcoat. Carefully depress the tip until it is saturated with Clearcoat. This will take 30-60 seconds. Prior to the first coat, and between all additional coats, using the TUD Tack Cloth is recommended.
    2. Lightly dab the Clearcoat onto the area to be painted. Do not use a drawing or rubbing motion as if using a marker; simply dab the Clearcoat on. Cover the area thoroughly and allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes between coats. Repeat this process applying 2-3 coats of Clearcoat. Allow to dry for 24 hours before polishing.
