Using an aerosol spray can to touch up or repair your car paint can seem like a daunting project. We’ve broken it down to the exact steps with to make it simple for you to do at home. With the right tools and correct paint color, your car will look like a pro did the job!
How to use an aerosol spray can:
1. Prep the surface for priming.
2. Shake the primer, then apply a thin layer, wait to dry and then apply another until the surface is smooth.
3. Shake the color, then apply 2-3 thin layers to your car. Let each coat dry 10 minutes before applying the next one and wipe the area with the tack cloth between each coat.
4. Shake the Clearcoat, then apply 2-3 thin layers to your car. Let each coat dry 10 minutes before applying the next one and wipe the area with the tack cloth between each coat.
5. Wait 24 hours, then rub the area with the polishing compound.
