Can-Am Touch Up Paint
The impact of these machines were so important that in 1974, Can-Am and their riders won the first, second and third place at the motocross national championship. The reason for the powerful configuration of these bikes comes from the rotary engine that differs from the engine design used on Japanese bikes. At the peak of their performance, the Can-Am engines can get a 6 horsepower gain compared to their nearest challenger.
Despite the success of the machines, during the 80's Bombardier slowly chose to depart from the recreational motorcycle industry to focus on their aircraft division. The company's disinvestment caused the motocross to be progressively phased out of production and the last Can-Am was built in 1987.
However, the story was not over yet for the brand. In 2003, Bombardier Inc. sold and rebuilt its recreational division. The BRP Inc. revived the name Can-Am for their ATV's, including their 2007 innovation, the popular three wheeled Spyder.

What tools do I need for a Can-Am touch up paint job?
To create the best looking coat for your vehicle, we recommend the following:
PRIMER, COLOR, AND CLEARCOAT - It goes without saying that you need paint to do a touch up paint job. Clearcoat provides a thin protective layer for your paint job while Primer is required for damage that has reached the original base material.
WAX AND GREASE REMOVER CLOTH - The wax and grease remover cloth is used to remove wax, grease, and contaminants before painting.
SANDPAPER - Wet-sanding the affected area removes rust and prepares the surface with a rough finish so the paint can stick better.
POLISHING COMPOUND - The polishing compound smooths everything out with a factory-grade finish.
