How To Use Aerosol Spray
This is how to use your TouchUpDirect Aerosol Spray Can. Follow these instructions to achieve the best results using an Aerosol Spray Can.
2. Step 2
1. Point the can away from any surfaces or objects that should not be painted.
2. Perform 1-2 quick test sprays in a safe direction to clear the nozzle and confirm proper functionality.
3. Step 3
- Holding the can 6-8 inches from the face of the area to be painted
- Begin spraying your first pass 1-2 inches before the actual area to be painted.
- Continue holding the spray trigger for 1-2 inches past the area to be painted.
4. Step 4
- Using the same technique as the previous pass, continue to apply strokes of paint until the surface is evenly covered.
- Overlap the previous pass by 50% to ensure thorough coverage.
5. Step 7
1. When finished aim the can in a safe direction.
2. Hold the can upside down.
3. Spray 2-3 quick bursts to clear the nozzle.
