What is Clearcoat? It’s an extremely thin layer of plastic that you apply over your paint. It’ll protect your vehicle from sun damage and everyday detritus. With the aerosol can, you will be able to cover large areas of your car with a few smooth sprays.

    • Protects paint from outside damage
    • Provides gloss and finish to the paint job
    • Features a rotatable nozzle that creates a smooth fan pattern good for bumper repairs, mirrors, and other large panels
    • Good for larger panels like hoods, mirrors, or trunks lids
    • Made in the USA

    1. Assess Colorcoat application. Clearcoat will highlight any imperfections, so make sure issues with the Colorcoat are fixed before applying Clearcoat.
    2. Shake well. Periodically shake between sprays. Aim can in a safe direction, away from anything that should not be painted. Test spray the can 1-2 times with a quick spray to clear the nozzle and ensure the can is functioning properly.
    3. Holding can 6-8 inches from the face of the target area, begin spraying your first pass 1-2 inches before the actual target area. Continue holding the spray trigger for 1-2 inches past the target area. Using the same technique as the previous pass, continue to apply strokes until the surface is evenly covered. Overlap the previous pass by 50% to ensure thorough coverage.
    4. Apply 2-3 coats using the same methods as before. Let paint dry for 15-30 minutes between coats. When finished, aim can in a safe direction, hold can upside down and spray 2-3 quick bursts to clear nozzle.
