    What is Clearcoat? It’s an extremely thin layer of plastic that you apply over your paint. It’ll protect your vehicle from sun damage and everyday detritus. In addition to this service, Clearcoat also provides the final sheen that makes your car’s paint job look shiny and finished. The 2K High Gloss Clearcoat provides stronger protection than normal but requires activation with a catalyst that is provided in the cap.

    1. Before activating, shake the can until the mixing balls are heard.
    2. Remove the red button from the cap. Turn the can upside down and fit the red button onto the metal pin.
    3. Turn the can by 180° (right side up) and place on a firm surface. Press down on the can with the palm of your hand until the red button clicks into place to activate*. After activating, shake the can until the mixing balls are heard. Then shake the can again thoroughly for 2 more minutes.
    4. Spray surface with steady even strokes at a distance of 8-10 inches (20-25cm). Several light coats give a better finish than one heavy coat.
