Welcome to the Rubicon!
Our Jeep Adventure on the Rubicon Trail
At TouchUpDirect when we’re not working, we’re adventuring. We love to hit the open road and take our vehicles to new destinations. We also like a challenge, so some of our TUD family decided to tackle the Rubicon trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Considered to be one of the toughest routes in the US for off-roading, extreme caution is advised for any brave traveller willing to take on the 22 mile trail with its man-sized boulders, steep slopes, and muddy river beds. Jeep even named a model specializing in offroading after the Rubicon. The trail itself is named after the Italian river that Julius Caesar famously crossed. The Rubicon River was the location Julius Caesar declared as the point of no return as he marched his army into Italy. Luckily our people all returned from the trip to tell the tale. The trail lived up to its tough reputation, and we have the breathtaking pictures and footage to prove it.
